Dark Woods has a very strong opening consisting of spicy, smokey and resinous sweet accords. It is quite mature and classy with a certain boldness to it. The opening creates a scent triangle made up of dark, herbaceous and sweet balsamic notes. This is an incredibly rich and full perfume and can be quite polarizing and unique. This perfume is sophisticated and casual at the same time.
Dark Woods is quite linear so it does not change much over time but it retains its intensity throughout. The oud in this perfume is not animalic, it is mild and comes across as a dark wood note. Dark Woods perfume is perfect for cold rainy days, and it has an amazing performance during fall, winter and spring. The longevity and sillage of this perfume are great; upto more than 10 hours. This perfume is best for chilly evenings and nights out.
